The Great Mosque and More

The Great Mosque, called the Mezquita, is the third largest in the world. It has undergone many additions, one of which transformed it into a Catholic Cathedral.

The mosque's minaret.

Inside of the Mezquita. It has more that 1,000 colums made of jasper, onyx, marble, and granite. Inside, there is enough room for 30,000 Muslim men to pray.

Here are a few of us waiting outside for out tour guide, Iris, a Spanish and female version of Elzo.
