Don't Hassle Me I'm Local!

Clarke and I spent the weekend at Lake Winnipesaukee with Craig, Mary and Parker and Mitt and Ann. It was a beautiful weekend - a little bit cooler and breezy with clear blue skies. Craig had a long list of things to do for the weekend including volleyball, tennis, boating, wakeboarding and lots more. I don't think I completed many of the tasks since being 8 months pregnant excluded me from a few of them, but Clarke was the volleyball star and held his own in the "feats of strength" competition. Clarke was also thrilled to catch his first fish! I think a highlight for both of us was hanging out with Parker who is now 3 months old and looks very cute in his little speedo! It made us even more excited for our little guy.

Other Things We've Been Up To

For a ward activity a week or so ago, we went to see a polo match. It was pretty fun, though I spent more time talking to people than watching the game. At half-time (though I doubt they call it half-time in polo) all these small children started running onto the field. We were all so confused as to why. I seriously considered for half a second that it was the 2nd Coming and Christ had already asked the children to come to Him. But no, they were just running onto the field to repair divets. Heather and I decided to join the throngs of people (adults were slowly appearing on the field) to do like-wise. Here we are doing our divet-repair stance.

This past Friday, we had a Fear Factor activity, and let me just say we saw the factor, and we feared not. Heather and I competed head to head in eating graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolated sauce being dropped into our mouths. It was pretty intense and rather dirty.

Suck and blow relay style.

Team 2 - we won.
