I'm Engaged!!
To the most wonderful man.
Now a few of you might be saying to yourself - what the heck? Didn't we just barely see this exact same post on this blog like a few months ago? Yes, you did. But this is a different most wonderful man, and a different Low girl, soon to be Scott girl. Yes, it's official, not only because I've finally changed my profile on facebook, but now because it is on the blog (the ring and actual proposal had nothing to do with the "official" nature of the engagement). Josh proposed last Thursday night much to my complete shock. Now, when I say complete shock, I mean complete shock. I thought I had AT LEAST two more months before this came along - but I didn't. Again, so shocked that I cried tears of surprise; not joy, not relief, not anything except tears of absolute surprise. I know grandma Hawkes made me promise that I wouldn't put the family through another Boston winter wedding, but I'm afraid that's exactly what I'm doing. A thousand apologies, grandma Hawkes. After we called mom and dad on Thursday night announcing the engagement, they decided to fly Josh out with me for the weekend so we could all be together in Boston. It was such an amazing time, I loved absolutely every minute of it! Here are some pictures of us as an engaged couple: one nice, the other trying to blatantly show off my new bling-bling. Love you all so much!
