Fall fun

A few weeks ago, we went apple picking at an orchard. We decided, while there, to pick one apple of each kind that we could find so that we could take them home and do a taste analysis. Here we are at the Orchard. We forgot the memory card for our camera at home, but fortunately Ellen Patton was there with her camera. Thank you, Ellen!
Here is the apples ready for the taste testing. From left to right: Empire, Fuji, Macintosh, Gala, Golden Delicious, and Macoun. The winner was.... drumroll please... Empire. We liked it 'cause it tasted the most like what you'd think an apple should tase like.
Also, a week ago, I got my hairs cut (and highlighted, but that's not as noticable). Here's the before shot.
And here's the after.

  • I love love love your hair! And the apple testing is classic Amy and Luke! There is nothing like a fall day in an orchard in New England - (especially eating the apples right off the tree).
